Friday evening was Fall FunFest at Noah's elementary school. It's sponsored by the PTA and kids use tickets they purchase to play games and buy food. They also get to dress up in costumes and "trunk or treat."
Noah decided to be Darth Vader this year and he was going to wear a basic Darth Vader play costume I got him at some JBF or other, but I went to a thrift store last week and found him a really nice costume with the cape and boots and all. He used a mask he already had and completed the look with a light saber from his collection and black knit gloves.
Audrey's Halloween costume is a surprise, so stay tuned!
I found her this poofy pink and gold princess dress at the thrift store as well, mainly for a fun dress-up at home, but of course she wanted to wear it.
She accessorized with her mermaid necklace from cousin Kate, a wand (formerly a "scepter" like the one in Esther) and one of her various and sundry tiaras.
Lots of fun trunk-or-treating!
The Fort Worth Police SWAT team brought their truck!
We ran into a few other Darth Vaders.
Audrey waiting her turn to play miniature golf:
Noah and his friend Hunter, who dressed as a hockey player!
It's only the beginning of a week of Halloween!
