Celebrating Independence

On Wednesday, July 3rd, we joined our church family at Light Up Arlington for music and fireworks.

Audrey loved her first fireworks show!

Thursday morning, we followed tradition and watched the parade in Arlington with friends and family.

Can't have a July 4th parade without DONUTS! (Noah's on his third.)

Bomb dogs checked out the parade route. Not sure if this is because of the Boston Marathon bombing or because Wendy Davis, who supports infanticide, was there.

After the parade and lunch at Chili's, we went swimming at Mom & Dad's...

Uncle Mark got a work-out with Noah!

And after swimming and naps, we went to Mark & Diana's place in Dallas for burgers. Delicious!

They also invited Mark's parents, Ian and Joyce.

Noah brought his LeapPad, and we had to make him stop playing to watch fireworks on the drive home!
