Jumping ahead in my photo lineup to Easter Sunday!
We woke up early (well, some of us) and the kids looked through their Easter baskets from Mommy & Daddy.
| This is one of about a thousand attempts to get a picture of both together, smiling at the camera. Audrey is out of focus because she won't. sit. down. |
We went to worship services and then went on a wild and crazy egg hunt in the church lawn (it had been postponed for two consecutive weeks due to the weather).

She got the hang of it, but was distracted by the holly berries at one point and tried to open the eggs at another.
Getting pictures of the kids with the family was, in retrospect, quite hilarious, because my kids have faces stuffed full of candy in every picture!
After the egg hunt, Noah released his five butterflies (he received them as baby caterpillars and we witnessed the entire metamorphosis--great gift from Aunt DiDi & Uncle Mark), including the gimpy deformed one.
We may or may not blame Audrey for shaking the entire butterfly habitat while they were in the chrysalis stage.
As always, we enjoyed the day spent with family, a Lord's day on which we remember the sacrifice that God the Father made when He sent His Son to live and die for our sins. Happy Easter!
