Yesterday we attended one of our favorite annual events, the Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo!

This year was unusually warm, especially compared to years past. The temps climbed close to 80 degrees!

First, we toured the Children's Barnyard. Noah pointed out the sow's teats, and reminded Audrey that "Mommy used to have those, remember?" Nice.

They saw newly hatched chicks, ducklings, a turkey, goats, and sheep, among other things.

That was a great warm-up for the Petting Zoo!

They were awed by the llama's height!

After some dinner and checking out the horses in the stables, we headed to our seats at the rodeo.

Mom and I had ridden together and were joined by Chris, and later my dad, Courtney, Jimmy, Sally, Diana and Mark came, too!

We love the National Anthem and the fireworks!

We enjoyed bronc riding,...

...laughed at the Calf Scramble,...

...were impressed by bulldoggin',...

...cheered for barrel racing,...

...and held our breaths through bull riding!
