Easter Sunday

If you read my Lads to Leaders post, you surmised that we began Easter in the beautiful Gaylord Texan hotel. Our worship service was at 8:00, but we managed to snap a picture or two on the short walk through the resort.

Not your typical Easter picture...

After worship, we lingered in the atrium for photos and goodbyes, then loaded up our car with luggage and headed home!

We hosted both families for Easter lunch. Diana and Mark win the prize for furthest distance traveled!

Beau's first Easter!

Nana gave my kids kick boards (for the swimming pool) for Easter.

We had baked ham and swiss sliders (which is becoming my go-to meal for a crowd!), hash brown casserole, sausage balls, salad, fruit, and of course... Stephanie's amazing dessert selection!

Sugar cookies

Hydrangea Cupcakes

Bird's Nest Cupcakes
Traditionally, the Easter bunny doesn't come to our house until after lunch when the children are distracted. He showed up and they went nuts!

This was the first year that it was truly competitive.

The determination on her face says it all!

No stone went unturned.

Noah was struggling to accept that Audrey perhaps had found more eggs than he.
(She didn't. But almost.)

As the kids sorted candy, the rest of us took pictures!

These cousins enjoy any time they get together!

Happy Easter!
