We blinked and it was Friday, our last day to visit the parks at Disney World.
No better place to spend our last day than at the Magic Kingdom!
We started bright and early for the 8 a.m. Extra Magic Hour.
The Princess had her bodyguards.
Our first ride was Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin, where it's all about getting points and defeating the evil Zurg!

Next, after an unscheduled restroom break (insert eye roll), we geared up for Tomorrowland Speedway!
Next, all but Drew and Jamie used our fastpasses to ride Space Mountain! Noah had been looking forward to this ride for a long time.
Chris made sure Audrey wouldn't fly out on Space Mountain!
We happened to see Stitch from the movie Lilo & Stitch, and the kids wanted to meet him!
After some pin purchases and a cinnamon roll (Dad), we rode Carousel of Progress. So entertaining!
Next was Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor, and improv comedy show using characters from Monsters, Inc. and picking on audience members. Naturally, Dad was the one spotlighted out of our group!!!
Probably the highlight of his trip.

Next we headed over to Fantasyland to use our Fastpasses for Enchanted Tales with Belle, an interactive character experience where the kids get to help tell the story.

Yet again, my two didn't volunteer to be a part of it... but luckily, Audrey still got a picture with Belle.

We still had awhile before our lunch reservations, so we browsed some shops and caught The Muppets Present: Great Moments in American History.
Noah wanted another shot at the Sword in the Stone...

Finally, it was time for our highly anticipated lunch reservation at the new Be Our Guest restaurant in Beast's castle!

We sat in a large room that depicted scenes from the movie on tapestries hung on the walls.
After lunch, we went back to Tomorrowland to ride the PeopleMover, which went through Space Mountain when it happened to have the lights all on for maintenance work. That was cool!
Time for the Festival of Fantasy Parade! It was sweltering and humid, especially in a crowd with no breeze, but worth it to see Audrey's excitement as each princess appeared!

After the parade, we needed to cool off with some slushies. It just so happened that, near the Pirates of the Caribbean ride, there were some toy swords for sale... and my kids had a little bit of money left on the gift cards we gave them for souvenirs, so you can guess what we had to deal with the rest of the day. At least it was at the end of the week!

After the ride, we came out to a rainstorm! You know what that means... poncho time!

After waiting out the worst of the storm, some of us rode Aladdin's Flying Carpets and then met Princess Jasmine!

Then, we outvoted Mom and visited the Tiki room one last time.
I tried to think of anything we had not done at Magic Kingdom... but we pretty much nailed it!
We caught a rainy day parade...
As the rain continued and the crowds started to build for the evening's special-ticketed Halloween event, we said farewell to the Happiest Place on Earth.
And now, presenting: the various moods of Disney guests...
"Never say goodbye, because saying goodbye means going away, and going away means forgetting."
To cheer up the kids, we took the monorail to Epcot!

At Epcot, we waited for a bus to Disney Springs for a satisfying dinner at a burger joint. Noah modeled the latest in sword-wearing fashion.
