We spent Memorial Weekend at Potato Hills Central campground on Sardis Lake in Oklahoma.
It was our first time here but hopefully will not be our last! We had 60 people on the trip, at least half of which were kids! We reserved Group Camp A which came with a great pavilion and our own private loop, situated right on the lake shore. It was fantastic!
Most of us arrived Friday and set up.
Camping trips are a great way to get the kids off their tablets and phones and outside, running and playing and enjoying some freedom. We only saw Noah as a blur every once in awhile!
A couple of the guys in our group tried fishing, although I later heard them say they weren't fishing, only casting. I guess that's what you call it when you don't catch anything.
The swim area was in the south campground, so we had to take a short drive to get there. It was TOTALLY worth it!
Three babies under 1 year old camped with us! Andrew (6 mos.), Aliyah (7 weeks old!), and Travis (7 mos.) all in Lisa's lap!
We spent hours swimming and playing beach volleyball on Saturday and Sunday afternoons.

We enjoyed a brisket provided by David and Lori for Saturday's dinner, and grilled burgers and hot dogs for Sunday's lunch.

One of our newer families brought a drone--so interesting and fun!
Saturday night we gathered on the lake shore to watch the sunset, so Dad built a fire to commemorate the occasion.

We had 53 people at our worship on the lake shore Sunday morning! Most of us stayed another night and packed up Monday morning.
