Destination: Waco, TX!
We celebrated Jamie's birthday BIG with a family stay in Waco. We went early to put our names in for lunch at Magnolia Table--there was a 2-1/2 hour wait! Luckily, they have a system in place where we could come back so we went to the silos and Magnolia Market.
After a late lunch/early dinner, we checked in to our weekend getaway house... the mid-century modern from Fixer Upper! It was amazing!
We celebrated Jamie's birthday that evening with gifts.
The garage was converted into this room where Chris and I slept with the kids.
The entryway was closed in to connect the garage conversion to the rest of the house.
Saturday we headed to Homestead Heritage where we watched people make pottery, weave, blacksmith, do woodwork, and much more!
The kids also enjoyed running around in the barn.

After a delicious lunch at the Homestead cafe, we headed back to the house for naps and relaxing. That evening, we celebrated all the fathers for Father's Day! Then we had Jamie's birthday cake (we were finally not all too stuffed for it).
LOVE this family and any time we have together. What a great weekend!
