Audrey's Sixth

Audrey's sixth birthday inspired plenty of celebration!

Chris and I surprised the kids by booking (with points) a room in downtown Fort Worth at the Hampton Inn & Suites the night before Audrey's birthday. Audrey was SO EXCITED when we arrived and she realized we were staying in a hotel for the night! She exclaimed, "I should have worn my makeup!" and then asked, "Do they have massages here?" I seriously have no idea where she gets these things. We took them to Cheesecake Factory for dinner and dessert, then an evening swim at the fun indoor pool and splash area in the hotel. They stayed up watching TV and slept in a little, then we walked to the Water Gardens for a bit. One more swim before checkout, then a quick tour of Pandy's office and lunch with him! 

Friday evening we got together with Drew and Jamie and the fam to celebrate Audrey's birthday on the 27th and Drew's on the 30th. BBQ for dinner and cake, cookie cake and ice cream for dessert! Yum!

Saturday was her "friend" party, which (as usual) turned into a bigger party than I anticipated when I first agreed to do it! Audrey has too many friends, and she never wants to leave anyone out!

One of the highlights of Audrey's birthday was that her friend Jude from Kindergarten, who had moved out of state, unexpectedly moved back and was able to come to her party! Jude will proudly tell you he LOVES Audrey and wanted nothing more than to kiss her hand. His mom snapped this framer:
