This morning the kids finished up breakfast and went off to play as I worked on my Bible lesson and savored my coffee. Soon, of course, I hear Noah: "MOM! Audrey's in my ROOM! Come get her!" I ignored him, as I have reminded him daily that if he doesn't want his sister in his room, he should keep the door closed. About a minute later he emerges from his room, alone, and walks toward the kitchen. He then calls back, "Audrey, are you HUNGRY? Want something to EAT?? Come get in your highchair!" Sure enough, here comes Audrey, tearing out of his room and making a beeline for her highchair, signing "eat" the whole way.
Can't say the kid's not creative!
