One of the coolest things (not to outshine Dusty, of course) was the B-29 Superfortress "FIFI," the only remaining aircraft of its type that still flies. Pretty cool after re-reading Louis Zamperini's Unbroken and seeing how these planes helped us win the war!
Noah also enjoyed this C-47, which was called "Southern Cross." You could pay to take a ride in it.

We also met a nice lady who owns this Stearman biplane restored from 1929. She wanted to get our picture and also gave Noah a packet with information about the plane, a "Jimmie Allen Flying Club" card, and wings to wear. Noah was enthralled!
Some owners were kind enough to allow Noah inside their planes...
...and one even let him "fly"!
