Our friends Brianna and Randy hosted a fabulous Halloween party at their home Friday night. Friday morning, Chris finally settled on a costume, Forrest Gump, since he already had everything he needed to be Forrest. Of course, I spent the day scrambling around to collect costume parts to be Jenny from the movie! The best part of the costumes was serendipitous... we got to Drew & Jamie's to drop the kids off, and Chris opened the front door and Bart the basset hound dashed out and took off down the street! Chris started running full-speed after him in his Forrest Gump get-up, and I just couldn't resist! "RUN, FORREST, RUN!!!" I screamed. No neighbors were out to witness this fantastic reenactment.
