Chris got to spend a little more time at home today due to flight cancellations and the ice, so he joined me in taking the kids to the mall for their pictures with Santa Claus.
We weren't very optimistic about how Audrey would handle Santa, but she allowed Mrs. Claus to hold her and was distracted by the stuffed dog. Still, there were certainly no smiles! Every time she looked at Santa she screwed up her face and started whimpering.
After receiving a letter from Noah, Santa has been busy running around getting him the Braum's ice cream truck he specifically requested this year. Santa was a little surprised when Noah decided today that he would ALSO like a snow globe with the North Pole and snow in it. (We watched The Santa Clause last night...) Too bad Noah was at JCPenney when Santa saw some on a GREAT sale... Santa will have to make another trip. (If the elves can't make one.)
After a little shopping, we let the kids ride the carousel and I snapped some pictures, since my camera was with me!
