Our church hosted the second annual Polar Express event last night. It's designed for children to bring gifts for less fortunate children, wrap them, and then enjoy some Christmas-themed activities.
They had their faces painted...
...decorated cookies...
made crafts, ate pizza, drank hot chocolate, and watched Arthur Christmas in their pajamas.
Best of all, Santa Claus came and told stories, answered questions, and took requests!
Noah and his friends were ecstatic to see Santa!
Audrey was hesitant, but got a little braver...
...and finally decided it was safe to sit by brother.
Most surprisingly, she let "Nah-Nah" hold her!
And my favorite part was when she sat back down at his feet, waiting for more stories. LOVE!
