As is our custom, we enjoyed the Arlington Independence Day Parade on Friday morning. We joined my parents and grandfather, and our party this year included my good friends Joe & Kelly with their boys and my college friends Carly and Jeff and their son, plus Jimmy and Courtney with Maya! It was fun celebrating our nation's independence with good friends and family.

In the afternoon, after some quick naps, we went to Dallas to see my cousin Anne's new house! She and her husband Matthew threw a fun little 4th of July party and invited family and friends. I didn't take any pictures because the kids were swimming and I had to do the whole parenting, make sure your kids don't drown thing, but it was lots of fun.
After Anne's, we drove back to Burleson for some family fun, go-carting, and fireworks!
