Monday morning we followed tradition, braving thunderstorms and downpours for donuts, then rejoicing in the cool weather as we waited for the parade to start!
| Mom and Marla have kept the Arlington parade tradition going for many, many years! |
| Beau (and his parents) came too! |
Three of my TCU girlfriends and their families joined us! These are all the kiddos: Brooklyn (almost 1) and Noah Theo (1), Audrey and Levi (3) Beau (10 mos.), Zachary (4) and Liam (almost 4) |
| Mom and PawPaw |
| Anthony and his daughter Brooklyn |
| Mark and Beau |
| TCU friends forever! Carly, Angie, me and Chrissy |
| Kelly and her boys also joined us! She's holding Josiah, then Levi, Caleb and Noah |
| We LOVE the Elvises (Elvi?) on mini-bikes! |
| Beau is indifferent. |
We had lunch at Chili's, then later went to Mom & Dad's house for swimming, homemade ice cream, and lots of other food... plus fun with family!
As dusk set in, we headed out to Jamie & Drew's place to watch (and shoot!) fireworks.
Audrey got to do her first sparklers!
Happy 4th of July! May God bless America, my home, sweet home.
