On our long drive back home, Doug and Tanya made it to Monahans before we saw them pulling over on the side of the road. We thought to ourselves, "NOT AGAIN!" but this time, it was engine trouble.
Thankfully, Chris got Drew on the phone and tapped into his diesel engine knowledge. Drew talked them through some troubleshooting steps and they quickly found the problem--something about hose clamps and a line coming loose, I think. Within ten minutes it was fixed and we were back on the road!
Thankfully, we had no more incidents on our drive home. We arrived safe and sound around 6:00, already dreaming and planning our next trip!
(Also, Doug and Tanya already traded in the gigantic camper and its new tires for something a bit smaller and newer! Time to try out the new gig!)
