All last week here we had crazy arctic weather, especially different for us because of how long it lasted. It blew in Tuesday and Chris didn't have to go in to work, along with almost everyone else in the area. Schools and businesses closed because the ice on the roads was just too dangerous. This is not unprecedented, but the fact that the temps stayed in the teens and 20s for four days is really unusual. Chris ended up having to make it in to work Wednesday through Friday, but school was still canceled and people were staying holed up in their houses, including Noah and me! You can imagine being shut up in the house with a rambunctious two-year-old for four days. I had to be creative. Luckily, it snowed Thursday night and Friday, so we were able to go out and play for a change. Stephanie made it over Thursday before the snow and spent the night, and we had lots of fun playing with Noah and baking. Here are a few of my favorite pictures!
