It's been several days since I've posted, and I have so much to say!
We had a busy week followed by a weekend camping trip to Fort Richardson. I'll post that in a bit.
Wednesday we went to the park with several friends from church and rode bicycles and had a picnic. Thursday we met my cousins Christa and Melanie, my aunt Martha, MeeMaw, Mom, and all of the kiddos (Christa's two, Mason and Brayden, and Melanie's girl Madison) at a place called Jump Zone. It's a warehouse stuffed to the brim with bounce houses and PEOPLE. It was chaos, let me tell you. Noah had some fun in a few of the bounce houses and slides, but he spent the majority of his time on the see-saw!

It was great to spend a little time with my cousins. Christa is busy raising her sweet boys, teaching at their pre-school, and looking for a new house, so we don't see her often enough. Time with Melanie is even rarer because ever since she got married, her husband David has kept her from us by going to medical school in Houston and his current residency, which moved them to Kentucky. Why does he have to be so accomplished, huh? Christa's younger son Brayden was born February 2nd, Madison was born July 2nd (5 months later to the day), and Noah couldn't quite make it to December 2nd (thank goodness), but they are all within 10 months of each other in age. It's so much fun to get them together--brings back memories of the hours and hours we spent together on a regular basis as kids. Of course, it's pretty different having two boys in the mix, and then throw in bossy Madison... they are unique, that's for sure.
Thursday evening, Chris, Noah, Mom, Dad, and I met our friends Joe and Kelly and their boys Caleb and Levi for dinner in Fort Worth at a yummy new pizzeria, and then walked to the convention center for the annual auto show. This is a must each year because Noah gets our money's worth by attempting to "drive" every vehicle in the place. Joe and Kelly were more looking for themselves, but Mom, Chris, and I stayed busy finding cars we knew Noah would like. (Are there any he doesn't like?)
