Catching Up

So little time, so much going on!
Oh, I've been meaning to update so many times with different tidbits, so this post will just be a hodgepodge of it all!

Audrey is now 7-1/2 months old. She is getting around quite well (starting crawling--or inchworming--at 6 months) and gets into things CONSTANTLY. The other day, she rolled off her changing table when I turned around to deal with Noah. She landed flat on her back, luckily, and actually didn't cry too hard from the 4-foot drop! Also, earlier this week I left her near a basket of toys, sitting up on her knees and holding on to the handle. I heard some whimpering and came back to see that she had stood up (on her own!) and now wasn't quite sure what to do! She is super-mischievous, and makes me miss what an easy, compliant baby Noah was. At least we get some good laughs out of Audrey; hopefully, no ER visits in our future with this one!

We got some pictures of Audrey with her baby girl friends at church. My sweet friend Stephanie had baby Madison in March (today is her birthday, actually!) and Audrey was born in July, followed by cute Mackenzie just three weeks later. It is so fun having friends at church already! A good friend, Vicki, got lace onesies for all the girls (we call them baby lingerie), so we had to get some pictures! Getting the girls all to cooperate was a different matter...

Audrey won't sit still long enough for the pictures!

Noah, the connoisseur of baby girls
Chris has been fixing up our bathrooms for awhile now! He started by tiling the master bathroom (with Drew's help) and adding on to our bathroom cabinet. Previously, we had a cabinet with two doors on one side and a knee space on the other, as if anyone has time to SIT DOWN and do makeup! Really, it was the builder cutting corners. So Chris built a frame to blend with the rest of the cabinet, and thanks to my Uncle Dan, got some beautiful cabinet doors and pocket hinges! I picked out a gray paint, and Chris put it all together last Saturday while keeping both kids! Wow! Here's a picture from my phone:

And finally, Chris and I took Noah out the other evening with his skates and get-up from Nana and Pandy. He skated for just a little while before requesting a hockey stick! Daddy is so proud.

After a hard fall, Noah decides to take a break from hockey.

Aww, love the baby lingerie! And your bathroom looks great. We've been thinking about using a grey like that in our kitchen. Thanks for posting the picture:)
