So we are neither Irish nor Catholic, but I did read a really neat fact about "St. Patrick" today in the paper. When he was preaching in Ireland, he used the three-leaf clover to teach about the Trinity--the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, separate but one. I thought that was ingenious!
