Saturday morning, Noah broke the door...
(He was about to close it but tripped and went right through the bottom panel.)
Luckily, with some rudimentary tools, it was repaired.
Our neighbors piled out of a clown car private bus: two parents and eight children, most of them in their upper teens. They were SO STRANGE. One of them soon began practicing with his BULL WHIP, people.
The day was spent hiking, mountain biking, and having chats over coffee with Spider-Man.
Our favorite creature encounter was with one hungry, fat little squirrel. He was not shy about asking for food, up close and personally, and he especially enjoyed Audrey's dropped PB&J.
Naturally, we roasted marshmallows both nights for s'more's.
It was a fun little camping trip and made up for the one we cancelled the weekend before Thanksgiving! Our only regret was that most of the original group couldn't come this weekend. Oh well, plenty of opportunities to camp next year!
