Thanksgiving Day was a very special day this year. For the first time since the day he was born, Noah's birthday fell on Thanksgiving Day! This is significant to me, because Noah was born exactly one week after his due date. I was ordered to be on bed rest the night before he was born because my blood pressure was elevated, but thank goodness my bed rest only lasted through one night, as contractions started early in the morning on November 27th. It was quite a day of thanksgiving and celebration, and he has been the biggest blessing to our family, not counting Audrey, for the last six years. We also realized that because of the leap years, Noah will not share his birthday with Thanksgiving Day again until 2025, when he will turn 17! Kind of bittersweet for me.
Noah received his gift from Audrey when he got up for breakfast (donuts! His favorite).

| A Spider-Man hoodie! Audrey's such a great sister :) |
Late that morning, we headed to Drew and Jamie's, where Noah spotted his gift from Mommy and Daddy: a brand-new, big-kid bicycle!
Audrey played dress-up with Mamie's apron during all the hoopla.
He got all situated and ready to ride the new bike without training wheels!

| Spectators enjoyed the beautiful day and fall colors |
| Audrey got upset about something or other... |
| Had I known the pegs were for wheelies, I might have objected to this bike... |
Jamie had a beautiful table set for our Thanksgiving meal, of course!
We managed to snap family pictures throughout the day, as people arrived. Here are ours! I can't pick my favorite.

Chris' Uncle Tommy and his son Nick

| GGB joined us for Thanksgiving this year! Two of her kids shared the holiday with her. |
| Drew, Jamie, Tommy, Barbara |
| We got a surprise visit from Billy, an old friend from high school. His parents live down the street, but he leaves soon for a job in another state! |
| LOVE this picture of GGB and her great-grandkids! |
| Jim and Sharon, Jamie's cousin. Sharon lost forty pounds (I think?) and looks amazing! She also announced that her daughter Lindsay, who has been struggling with infertility, is expecting! What a fantastic Thanksgiving we celebrated. |
| Newlyweds for one more month! AND proud doggy parents to Bonnie! |
| In the absence of Mark, Chris carved the turkey |
| Drew gave instructions and honored Noah's birthday :) |
| My favorite shot of Courtney! |
The boys threw the football out back...
| Noah took a bicycle break to play some football |
| Maya and Bart |
| Uh oh... now it's tackle football! |
Noah's birthday had to be special and apart from the Thanksgiving fare, so during halftime of the Cowboys game, we celebrated with a custom Avengers birthday cake made by, you guessed it, Aunt FUNNY!!!

| Playmobil from Mamie and Papa! |

| Planes: Fire & Rescue from Funny & Michael |
Not pictured: LEGOs, The Polar Express, and a snowglobe from CoCo & Jimmy!
And last but not least, TCU won their game against UT in Austin with no trouble. GO FROGS!
