Polar Express Party

Our church held its annual Polar Express pajama party last Friday night. This year, instead of Santa visiting, we were joined by the Grinch, which was fun for most but terrifying for Audrey.
She and her doll wore their matching gowns

The kids brought gifts for needy children and wrapped them, and got to do other fun activities, such as decorating their own cookies.

There were also age-appropriate crafts, like the gingerbread ornament Audrey made.

Doug and Tanya, along with Nami, did some impressive face painting.

As much as we tried, Audrey was NOT having it. (She was way too concerned about that grinch!)

Not only did Audrey match her doll, but she and Sophia also matched! (Audrey calls this her princess Elf on the Shelf.)

Before pizza, we had story time with a senior member of the congregation.

Audrey paid more attention to the Grinch's whereabouts than to the story.

The kids brought pillows and blankets and watched the original movie, you guessed it... The Grinch.

Here are a lot of the ladies who made this night happen!
