My sister and I grew up playing with my cousins Christa and Melanie all.the.time, so it is really a shame that I don't see them more often! Something's gotta change!
We all met up at Christa's house today with the kids. Christa's oldest, Mason (8), was absent but all the rest were there: Brayden (5), Madison (5), Noah (4), Ryann (18 mos.), Audrey (1) and Kennedy (2 mos.). Such fun to be had!
My fashion sense for Audrey was confirmed when we showed up to discover that Melanie had dressed Ryann in nearly an identical outfit. So funny! It's hard to believe it wasn't planned! (Gotta get Kennedy some zebra...)

Christa made us some delicious Chipotle-style burritos, and MeeMaw and Aunt Martha joined in on the fun. I remember being much younger and talking about how someday we would all have kids and they would play together just like we did. It's surreal! (Of course, it's a much different scenario with so many boys in the mix! On my mom's side, there were four girl cousins before the three boy cousins came along.) You just can't beat getting together with family and letting the kids run amok. Love those sweet babies! And there's nothing like having wise cousins I can consult... between the seven kids the three of us have,
somebody has been there.
