Update on HFM Disease

If you're on Facebook or Instagram, you may already be pretty updated about how the kids are doing, but if not, you're really missing out on some icky pictures of Audrey's blistered feet! I'd hate to leave anyone out, so here ya go.

Baby girl felt that her feet were ugly, so now she has hot pink toenails. Note the blister on her pinky toe :(

Despite all the blisters, Audrey is acting herself, as you can see in this video.

Noah, on the other hand, has now contracted it and is in a LOT of pain because of the sores in his mouth (soft palate). Jamie found an article online that said to mix 1 tsp. Benadryl with 1 tsp. Maalox or Mylanta and coat the mouth with it, then swallow. The pediatric nurse confirmed this remedy, and said to try it every six hours! Hope it helps. Otherwise, we just need to keep him hydrated and let the virus work itself out. Boo!
